Claire works with leadership teams to unlock potential and foster thriving cultures.

This work enables teams to make better sense of current challenges and co-create the ways of working to enable individually and collectively be at their best. This can include facilitated offsites and retreats, and longer supported programs.

Through better sensemaking, Claire works with teams to:

Strengthen the quality of relationships, trust, connectedness and belonging

Build a culture of psychological safety as a key foundation for navigating complexity and high performance

Orient towards interdependence and collective outcomes to foster team cohesion and alignment

Clarify a shared understanding of vision, purpose and what success means for the team.

Design new practices, rituals and ways of working to move the team and culture forward

The benefits of this work

Claire has supported teams to make better sense of what’s going on, for example to:

Reveal

Reveal the polarities that are being held in the culture of the organisation so the team is able to find new possibilities through conflict.

Identify

Identify tensions between espoused values and lived values, remembering what’s most important and how those values are reflected in practice.

Appreciate

Appreciate the whole – the overall vision and directions, as well as the parts – how the team and broader organisation is coming together to achieve this.

Deepen

Deepen understanding of individual and collective strengths, aspirations and values.

Getting started

One way we can start this journey is a qualitative diagnostic undertaken with individual interviews to identify key strengths and aspirations as well as areas requiring greatest focus.

With this groundwork in place, we together tackle the important issues and opportunities that the team wants to make progress on.

These sessions are co-designed to address the most important issues faced by the team while also being grounded in practical experiential learning so the team generates new capacities and insights, delivering high value and ensuring momentum is maintained.

This work is usually undertaken with leadership teams of 8-24 people and can typically include

  • Qualitative diagnostic: identifying key strengths and aspirations as well as tensions in the culture

  • 1-2 day offsites: to explore the themes from the diagnostic and identify areas of focus as well as build capability and relationships to move the culture forward

  • Ongoing team coaching and support: to ensure real shifts ways of working

The shape of this offering is tailored to each organisation.
